Over 100 enterprises attended Taipei Tech Career Fair 2017

Taipei Tech Career Fair 2017 was held on March 15 on campus. Over 100 enterprises participated and released over 5,500 job openings in the annual event. Many well-known companies such as Everlight, Chicony Electronics, Hon Hai, Taiwan Semiconductor, DELTA, Formosa Plastics Corporation, CTCI, and Yong Feng Yu were looking for the right candidates to work for their companies. Fintech is popular in recent years, O-BANK and Taishin Holdings also provided high salary to attract talents.

Taipei Tech topped the list in Most Favorite Graduate ranking among National Technology Universities in Taiwan according to a survey conducted by 1111 Job Bank in 2016. Our salary is NT$35,000 for bachelor degree graduates, and NT$45,000 to NT$50,000 for Master degree graduates according to data within three years collected by Taipei Tech.

Wen-lung Li, acting president of Taipei Tech, noted that the main vacancies are management trainee, RD, and integrated mechatronics talent this year. Taipei Tech student must complete internship in industry before graduation. This requirement along with other things such as factory laboratory and industry-academia collaborated curriculum all made Taipei Technist stands out among graduates.

Some companies sent Taipei Tech alumni to their booths. Tai-long Wang, who graduated from the Institution of Electrical Engineering, now works at MOXA as an engineer. Wang encouraged students to do research on the companies you are interested in and to ask questions in order to know the company better.

Game companies like Aiming Inc. and Wegames Corporation also expect to find potential employees at Taipei Tech. Electrical industry incorporations including TORRECID, YAMAHA, and TAIKOO MOTORS are preparing for a talent hunt too.
