International visiting group at Taipei Tech

About 30 scholars and experts from over 10 countries visited Taipei Tech for a campus tour on March 31. Taipei Tech has been cultivating talents since 1912, many of our alumni are the founder or CEO of Taiwan listed companies. With strong support from CHICONY which its founder is our alumni, Taipei Tech established the C&T Laboratory that focus on automation technology development. The visit to the C&T Laboratory showed our distinguished guests the rich R&D energy of Taipei Tech. Two student ambassadors gave a brief presentation and said it was an exciting for them to interact with so many foreign guests.

Founded in 2015, i-Foundry is not only the innovation station but also makers’ dreamland at Taipei Tech that breeds numerous new ideas. Da-Sheng Lee, Dean of the Office of Industry-Academia Cooperation, provided an amazing and thorough introduction to the place. In i-Foundry, guests experienced 3D printing process and had a lot of fun. And many creative 3D print products grabbed their eyeballs. This journey sure built a connection between Taipei Tech and these honored guests and we hope they all enjoyed the time spent at Taipei Tech.
