Taipei Tech IAIE program to bridge the gap between academia and industry

Taipei Tech has been working with Ministry of Labor to establish Integrated Academia-Industry Education Programs (IAIE Programs) since 2013. On July 6, another 148 students completed their graduation requirements including 1,800 hours of technique training, technician certificate, and internship. Taipei Tech president Prof. Sea-Fue Wang noted that there are 877 students graduated from IAIE programs until 2018. Prof. Wang encouraged students to keep learning for the sake of staying competitive in the dynamic job market.

Minister Ming-Chun Hsu believed that the IAIE program can not only cultivate talent for industry but also provide a great job matching platform for young people.

Taiwan Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Engineering Association Chairperson Zi-Ping Zhu was proud of the IAIE programs achievement and recognized its contribution in shortening the gap between academia and industry.
