Taipei Tech held its first online MOU signing ceremony on 8th September to partner with University of South Bohemia (USB). As both parties cannot conduct a physical meeting due to the pandemic, Taipei Tech utilized interactive technology to set up a post-COVID 19 online meeting model for international cooperation.

Prof. Ko Ju-Chun from the Department of Interaction Design assisted the on-site video performance and staging, and by using an 80-inch flat screen with high resolution image as well as coordinating the lighting and sound, he is able to create a sense of presence for the participants. “Thanks to the advancement of contemporary technology, we are able to use video performance technology to support online conference in the post-pandemic era, and to narrow the distance between the participants from different parts of the world” said Ko.
