
Minister of Education announces the six models of technical and vocational universities.
National Taipei University of Technology is the top one university of "Model of Technical and Vocational Universities" which was recently announced by the Ministry of Education on March 21st.
The "Model of Technical and Vocational Universities" includes universities that are identified as "excellent" in research and education by academics from various vocational universities.

According to the Director of Technological and Vocational Education, “we are impressed that Taipei Tech has promoted a completed and detailed plan, therefore, it deserves the champion.” Besides the characteristic of school development, it is declared that the ratings are based on the evaluations of whether the school focuses on nurturing talented people, practical training, industrial studies and research, as well as the integration with outstanding studies.
To defeat all the vocational universities in Taiwan, and to be the top one in the 2012 list, it is seen as a major source of prestige for Taipei Tech. The success of Taipei Tech can be attributed to the success of our graduates in leading world universities, to the significant rise in practical research as “Humanities and Creative, Intelligent Tech, Green Tech, and Health Tech”, as well as to the strengthen of collaborations with all industries.
