Yue-An Liu, graduated from the Department of Vehicle Engineering at Taipei Tech, is the only female automobile technician in BMW, Taiwan right now. Liu grew interest in cars while growing up watching her father’s auto collection. From a little girl who just reads car magazine and watches TV show to an authentic professional, Liu finds passion, strength, and keep learning are the three key points for turning a hobbit into a career. With the solid training in both theory and practice from school, Liu went to BMW as an intern in her senior year and became an official employee in July 2015. Liu thinks that female automobile technician is still a minority in Taiwan; therefore she is not afraid of not finding a job. Moreover, Liu’s carefulness makes her good at details, from minor adjustment to cleaning oil leakage; she earns high reputation from her mentor.
