Kidsocks is a smart textiles design for children. With the pressure sensor, it can discover and correct the splayfoot earlier. Many children walk excessively flat footed, or bowlegged. Although they are not in pain, they are damaging their feet. Kidsocks also link with the app. Parents can observe children’s situation, and getting the first information from the app. To care children’s feet and prevent the splay foot happened, every family need Kidsocks! Designed by Lu-Wei Zang, Wen-Shuo Wen, Ting-Yu Lai, and Pin-Chen Lai, Kidsocks was awarded Top 300 in the 2016 iF Student Design Award.
