The 2016 Graduation Exhibition of Creative Design Program, Beyond the Grocery, was held on June 10-13 at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Taipei, Taiwan. Common objects in grocery store that we can see every day show mainstream value such as: industrial product should be economical and practical. But students in the Creative Design Program want to bring a more special exhibition to audience by transcend ordinarily rules to give grocery a new look. Below are two designs to name a few.

Tea POP: designed by Jia-Ling Cai Although environmental awareness is rising by public, reusable cup is still a burden for most people due to its weight and size. In order to solve this problem, Jia-Ling Cai came up with the idea of Tea POP which is a foldable paper cup. Tea POP is expected to be lighter and consume less space of people’s bag than reusable cup on the market, therefore makes it a lot portable. Moreover, Tea POP is very user friendly for the reason that you can open or fold it only by one hand.

Charcoal Framing Heater: designed by Wan-Lin Zhan-Liao Vintage style is hot in product design industry recently. So does the Charcoal Framing Heater, designed by Wan-Lin Zhan-Liao. Charcoal Framing Heater is a combination of traditional charcoal stove and modern electric heater. The fluctuation of metal sheets looks like burning flames that add a unique tough into this Loft style design.
