Infused with Chinese painting and Japanese Maki-e technique, the Wang family’s lacquer arts stand out as the exclusive creation of all time. Now the pieces of the legends are available at Taipei Tech Arts & Cultural Center.

Wang’s creation is strongly attached to the land and life. According to the manuscript of Wang Ching Shuang – the first generation of Wang’s lacquer arts, creations are intimately connected to the creator’s personality and life experiences. The styles of arts are the steady accumulation of daily experiences. Namely, a creator is supposed to embrace the copiousness of his/her life, and to ponder every detail of whatever takes place, since it is the trivial knowledge of life that fuels inspirations.

Wang family’s art exhibition is running from November 1^st through 14^th at Taipei Tech Arts & Cultural Center. All the guests are welcomed to visit during the opening hours from 09:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. on weekdays, or 02:00 p.m. to 06:00 p.m. on weekends.
