National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) is the number one university of “Paradigm Technological Universities,” which was recently announced by the Ministry of Education, R.O.C. on March 21, 2012.

The “Paradigm Technological Universities" includes universities that are deemed excellent in research and education by academics from various vocational universities.

Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Education Director said, “We are impressed that Taipei Tech has promoted a completed and detailed plan; therefore, it deserves to be the champion.” Besides the characteristic of school development, the ratings are based on the evaluations of whether the school focuses on nurturing talented people, practical training, industrial studies and research, as well as the integration with outstanding studies.

To defeat all the vocational universities in Taiwan, and to be the number one in 2012, is seen as a major recognition and honor for Taipei Tech. The success of Taipei Tech can be attributed to the achievement of graduates in different fields, the significant rise in practical research including intelligent technology, green technology, and health technology, as well as the strengthening of collaborations with all industries.
