Taipei Tech and CSI Technology jointed hands to establish the Intelligent Govern Research and Development Center

Taipei Tech and CSI Technology jointed hands to establish the Intelligent Govern Research and Development Center on 11 Oct, 2015. The Center aimed to develop new intelligent police equipment by digitalizing case experience of a well-known detective, Chang-Yu Lee.

Cheng ZhongCai, the CEO of CSI Technology, noted that CSI Technology and Taipei Tech is working on the Rolmes (Robotic Holmes) system that works based on Chang-Yu Lee’s know-how of solving criminal cases. The Rolmes system is expected to do things such as gather information at crime scenes to avoid human mistakes and to shorten training time for novice police officer. By sharing workloadwith police, the Rolmes system couldgive more time to police for meta-analysis.

The Intelligent Govern Research and Development Centerhas 20 members including engineers at CSI Technology and teachers and student at Taipei Tech. The profit of Rolmes system was estimated at 50 million dollars within 5 years after the real products were on board said Cheng ZhongCai.
