Joint published by Taipei Tech/Taipei Tech Alumni and Commonwealth Publishing Group, the book Cross-Century Industrial Driving Force has incredible life stories of 20 successful Taipei Tech alumni including Shu-Hong Lin, Chairman of Chang Chun Group, Tzu-Hsien Tung, President of Pegatron, Zhen-Lai Shen, CEO of ASUS, Mao-Gui Lin, President of Chicony Power Technology, etc.

The book release press conference was held on October 7, 2016. Many distinguished guests participated in this remarkable event including Charles Kao, founder of Commonwealth publishing CO., Vincent Siew, former Vice President of Taiwan, Leehter Yao, President of Taipei Tech, and so on.

President Yao noted that technical and vocational education is highly related to Taiwan’s economic development. And Government puts a lot of attention to technical and vocational education more than ever. In this new book, reader can see these 20 life stories as a living proof of technical and vocational education’s success. He also hope that young generation can be inspired and to pursue their dreams.

Vincent Siew, former Vice President of Taiwan, who wrote the foreword for this book, noted that the core spirit of this book is hard-working. And he encouraged young people to find their own passion and stick to it.
