Stray animal is a problem that nobody wants to see and something needed to be fixed. Led by Dr. Ye Wen-shao, three students at Taipei Tech tackled on this issue with technology. Animal Friendly City is an APP that integrates information including neutering, vaccinations and chip tracking. With this APP, user can easily keep track on stray animals and provide help in the shortest time. The APP also creates a network that enables the whole community to jump in and contribute to improving the problem. The APP was highly praised and won the iF Talent Design Award among over 5,000 entries. “Some people would download that app in no time. Great for animal shelters” noted by the iF Award jury.
