Cultural heritage officially recognized at Taipei Tech

The Yi-Da Hall (corridor) is officially recognized by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City Government as a cultural heritage on December 13. The committee went to Taipei Tech twice for joint investigation and gave high praises to the Yi-Da Hall’s construction technique and window design. They even speculated that the Yi-Da Hall might be the oldest Reinforced Concrete (RC) building on university campus existed.
The Yi-Da Hall is also one of the few buildings that were built during Japanese-Occupied Period on Taipei Tech campus thus process historical value.
